An elegant rendition of a snake bracelet with a deep green diamond-shaped Royston turquoise. Echoing the diamond shape are the two beautifully filed and stamped raised diamonds on either side of the turquoise set. The slightly domed rattler's head and tail animate the terminals. This large bracelet by Jock is a masterpiece of filing and stamping. Ingot silver, cast by Jock, is stamped "coin silver" and "JF". The inside measurement of the silver is 5 and 7/8 inches, plus the opening of 1 and 1/2 inches. Overall measurement then seems to be 7 and !/8 inches. The Blue Gem stone measures 11/16ths of an inch and the plate upon which it is mounted is 1 inch wide. Priced at $980.

This view shows the chisel-split ingot band created from melted silver dollars. Verbal transmission from the maker! The maker also told me this chisel-splitting is not easy to do, especially a 5-split like this one. Decorated with raindrops, punch marks and a cloud stamp. Fantastic!

Turquoise nugget necklace
These are some magnificent large natural turquoise nuggets separated by turquoise disc beads. The jaclas also are natural turquoise with the "corn" being shaped out of shell. The necklace is 28 inches long with the jaclas adding another 5 and 3/4 inches. On its original cotton string. Priced at $2650. This necklace has been recently re-strung with a fine wrap finish.
Silver squash blossom necklace
Beautiful hand-made beads and blossoms with notched extensions give this necklace its special flair. Securely strung on waxed linen and with all original components, this piece is unsigned and probably dates to the 1930's. Priced at $3600. The length is 25 inches, not including the naja, which measures 2 and 1/8 inches in diameter.
Tibetan turquoise hair ornament
According to author Peter Gold, Tibetan women from the Eastern province of Kham wore these elaborate hair ornaments to keep the fertile, creative, peace-keeping energy of Green Tara close. This one is a beautiful creation of 19 stones. Priced at $1250.
Larry Begay, ingot with turquoise
A rectangular piece of Morenci adorns this handsome bracelet. It's a mystery to me how these deep and regular channels are created. I'd love to understand the process if anyone knows.
